I am using this book to teach a course in a BA program - the students are enjoying it. It is cutting edge thinking and not filled with overwhelming academic verbiage and constructs.

Fantastic articles
The book got to my house after about 1.5 weeks, which kind of stressed me out because the school was starting in a few days.However, the book is in excellent condition, and it is probably the best deal I could have gotten on this book.
First of all, thanks for the book. second is that there are too many marking and there no way to tell which one is my marking and it just hard to focus when there are so many marking.
I'm using this text this semester for an Intro to GLBTQ Studies course. That should tell you something about the slant of the included essays. There are many useful writings collected here, most of which fall comfortably under the rubric of 'gender studies.' The topics of intersexuality, transsexuality, and transgenderism are well represented. Some of the more traditional women's studies topics and authors are missing which makes the text of limited use for introductory women's studies courses. But a good read nonetheless. I'll be interested to see what my students make of it.
Great book with a lot of information you can learn. needed for Sexuality and gender in urban life course if your looking to pursue your career in psychology.but yet it is expensive.
